The Humans were born under the shadow of the soul-leeching Infernal Demons but never succumbed to fear or despair. Other races served them: the mighty Bearans, the skillful Dwarves, the proud green Treants, and the rogue Gronthar. Together, they fought in the Holy Demonic Wars against the common enemy and would have triumphed if not for the Soul Ring, forged by the King of the Infernal Demons, which unleashed a deadly spell that claimed millions of souls and left the continent lifeless. The refugees fled to Irongarth, the final bastion of humankind. In the darkest hour, a new hero emerged: King Venuin Stonehill founded a new kingdom from the ashes, choosing the beautiful Whitesong City as its capital. There, he laid the foundation of the Sacred Order, giving birth to a new era for the Humans.
